Carolyn Creek is a small settlement, half a day north and east up the road from Rook Rock in central-ish Ilshandre. Close to the Tomb of Voldun, which over the years morphed into “Vordal” and the town has embraced the history and markets to the adventurer looking to fight a beholder.

Quest Giver Dead

• Priest Tormund, but he's from Rook Rock
• Witchhunter Sorel, but he's from Rikar
• *Gormli, fellow adventurer - turned Wight

Adventurer Gormli wandered through the town to pick up supplies, looking for the lost tomb of Vordal. He returned to town a couple days later and was very sick. He died, the town buried him and later that night he rose as a wight.

The town was under siege and sent for help to Rook Rock. A week later the Grey Slayers showed up to a dark, quiet town, are quickly attacked by zombies and rescue some townsfolk before destroying the Wight and remaining zombies before seeking out the tomb that keeps killing adventurers.
