House Torsk was founded as a minor house from a family under House Tyrallon and served faithfully under House Tyrallon’s banner for many hundreds of years. The House viewed itself as the sword and shield of House Tyrallon and was known to be at the front line whenever Tyrallon needed troops.

During the First Wyldlands Incursion the House showed bravery and ferocity unmatched by any other House that took part in the battles and was commended by the Empress for their staunch defense of the Empire. For these brave deeds the House was raised to Major House status and their territory was expanded to take over additional protective duties from House Tyrallon.

House Torsk is a very militaristic and regimented House. Over the years they have been the spearhead of Incursions from the wyldlands and had to hold themselves sometimes several Seasons before other Houses were able to provide assistance. For this the House tends to hold themselves in higher esteem then other Houses.

Recently, there have been border conflicts with the House Tyrallon, House Oringil and House Makul. House Torsk believes that these houses don’t take enough care and protection of the terrorities that they hold under the Empire. A few border skirmishes have arisen between forces of Torsk and the other Houses. Although billed as accidental from the Houses, the burned houses and dead villagers do not see it in the same light.

House Torsk is a centrally located House situated next to the Western Wyldlands and is the gateway to the empire from the west. It borders the Western Wyldlands and House Tyrallon to the North and West, House Oringil to the Southwest, House Makul to the south and House Lorrik to the East.
