The lives of Atmat Duskflame, Lordaelyn Penrose, Karath and Clover intersect when their barge breaks down on the edge of Hock's Hollow. While bartering for a carpenter to help repair the barge, they discover a strange pact with local goblins. Their investigation leads them into the mountains, where they discover the legendary lost priory of Bahamut. They find some rare relics and a plot to corrupt Bahamat's eggs, led by Karath's brother, Karal.
After checking in at Karath's home base in Takesh, they accept an escort mission to the gem city of Izeh. At the head of this city, they discover a blue dragon enslaving people and harvesting their energy, in exchange for a false utopia. With help from a powerful tiefling from the local mage school, they take down the dragon and restore the power to the people.
Their next mission takes them across the Great Grey Wastes. Their Great Kestral is caught in a wyldstorm, crashes and is promptly eaten by one of the Great Grey Worms that live in the wastes. Using the communities of survivors inside the worm, the adventures defeat a worm-based cult and lead the survivors to freedom, in the kingdom of Il'shandre.
The party stumbles into the small town of Rook Rock and takes on a couple small errands, discovering a mad druid nurturing a gulthias tree, and the tomb of Vuldun. After a short respite in Rook Rock, they accepted an escort mission for renowned bard, Cyranna, on her way to Garingold. They met Jasper, antique dealer, and continued on with Cyranna to the tree city of Terandeal, where she had a long engagement.
The path to Terandeal had been abandoned by the guards, and upon arrive to the city, the team requests a meeting with the council and explains what is happening on the roads. There is a lot of political tension in the area, that may come to a head soon. With Cyranna set up in her cushy new gig, the team parts ways.
