It is said that an ancient elvish stronghold, Belan Alora, once presided over much of this land. It is also said that a greedy prince's deal with the fey turned sour, and now few dare venture beneath the boughs of that dire wood. The forest itself is coniferous, rugged, and the land grows more frigid the farther one travels.
